You can tweak a page over and over again with damaging any elements.

You can change the photo multiple times but keep the same layout.

You can print out multiple copies of the same layout and give as gifts.

If you hate it - you can just start over again.

It takes up less room.

Hybrid Scrapbooking

So you are interested in digital scrapbooking but you like to do traditional paper scrapping as well. What's a person like you to do? Combine the best of both worlds and turn to hybrid.

Hybrid Scrapbooking is combining the traditional scrapbooking elements like paper and embelishement with digital elements

How can you get started in hybrid:

Tweak your photo digitally before printing (make it black and white, play withcolors, saturation, etc.)
Construct your journaling on your computer and print it out to place on your layout.
Print out your digital elements for use on your page.
Print your own paper.
Create 80% of your layout digitally, print it and then add some embellishments to make it pop.
Use your photo software to doodle on your photo before printing it out.

There are so many others things that you can do. The ideas are really limitless.

The world of digi scapbooking has really come along way. I think that your tips and suggestions are way better then the digitalscrapbookplace.com. Do you ever have any fun contests or creative sessions to help develop new ideas that us members can be a part of?
