Question about dpi/ppi
Hello all :) I'm quit new to DS, but I've been creating (pixel)graphics since 2002. Let me tell you, it was a HUGE change, switching from pixel graphics to DS files! DS is a wonderful challenge and I was addicted from day 1. Learning new techniques and creating kits is my main purpose, if I end up creating layouts with my archived (not) photos, it's a bonus :)
Now my question. It took me a while to figure out how to save .jpg files as 300dpi - fortunately, that problem is solved. But... any .png file I save, no matter which method I use, ends up as 71 dpi (or 300, but then the mask/transparency is gone). It's FRUSTRATING! I'm not sure if it's my Paint Shop Pro 7 or just me. Any tips are highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
