I'm way new to all of this including scrapbooking. I really like the idea of hybrid scrapping. I'm a stamper at heart and love to touch the papers and embelishments, but I never scrapbooked because I knew I would never finish anything. Anyway what I want to know is...is there a good website that will print a page separately so I can embellish it myself and put it into my own album?

Viovio.com now offer's loose pages - there is a minimum number of 12 single sided pages. But the cost is under a $1 a page. It is the same digital silk paper that is used in their books, so it isn't the same as having an image printed at Costco on photo paper.

I am new to digiscrapping, so I hope this information is helpful to other newbies. I downloaded a freeware program called UnzipThem All that I really find useful. It will open several files without having to do them one at a time and it also will unzip RAR files which I sometimes get from European scrappers. I think this site has great potential if we share tips etc that we think everyone already knows about.

What would make you want to visit on a regular basis? What would make you want to add more content, participate in discussions. Or what kind of content/information would you like to find on the site.
We have a lot of members but not a lot of activity so I am just trying to figure out how and what we can do to improve our site.
Thanks,
Tracy

Dear Tallynt, I am still trying to print a document via Walgreen's--if you have one in the right pixil / dpi for 12" x 12" for me to test, I would appreciate it; perhaps I could then swap out elements/pictures of my own? thanks! any help would be appreciated! Ina

Hi, my friends call me Nipa. I'm 73 and I have a project that may outlast my remaining years. A number of years ago I lived in Guatemala at an art colony. We painted pictures and wrote books. We supported ourself from our art. We even had a Gallery were we sold our paintings. To make a very long interesting story short we left Guatemala and traveled to the US. In the years that have passed we put 200 of our paintings in storage. The head of our colony passed away. At our Gallery in Guatemala we sold many paintings for up to $20,000. However in the US we were not known. I would like to make a DVD slide show of our paintings and add our own music. We are even thinking about giving our paintings to a museum. We also have material for a book recorded on tape that we need to type out. Big job for a 73 year old man. If anyone has any ideas please share them with me and I will try and explain further. I can suggest you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georg_Schafer That is the site that explains who our founder was. If I knew how to attach some pictures to this tread I would for your pleasure. Thlank you for your thoughts. Nipa

The world of digi scapbooking has really come along way. I think that your tips and suggestions are way better then the digitalscrapbookplace.com. Do you ever have any fun contests or creative sessions to help develop new ideas that us members can be a part of?

Hello all :) I'm quit new to DS, but I've been creating (pixel)graphics since 2002. Let me tell you, it was a HUGE change, switching from pixel graphics to DS files! DS is a wonderful challenge and I was addicted from day 1. Learning new techniques and creating kits is my main purpose, if I end up creating layouts with my archived (not) photos, it's a bonus :)
Now my question. It took me a while to figure out how to save .jpg files as 300dpi - fortunately, that problem is solved. But... any .png file I save, no matter which method I use, ends up as 71 dpi (or 300, but then the mask/transparency is gone). It's FRUSTRATING! I'm not sure if it's my Paint Shop Pro 7 or just me. Any tips are highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
